Thankful to see another beautiful year. It always feels like a fresh start, although I rarely ever have any resolutions planned. 2011 was more than a ride for me. From the beginning of the year, all the way till the end. I’ve learned to become a more independent, wiser, and stronger woman. From starting my first job, to my hardest heartbreak. Everything I went through was definitely a learning experience, whether it was good or bad. I wouldn’t have done it without God and his blessings and the people who surrounded me, so thank you. A year ago, I would say I was a naive girl who was trying to grow up. Now, I feel like I’ve done a lot of growing up, although there’s still plenty of growing up to do. Comparing myself a year ago is definitely a change that I can say was for the better. 2011 was one hell of a run, but 2012 should be even better.
